Michael Schoen, Founder & CEO

With a versatile background in real estate, art, and hospitality, coupled with a lifelong passion for music, storytelling, and entertaining, Michael offers a unique perspective on creating environments that are both inspiring and welcoming for families.

During his time living in London, Michael was inspired by the city’s rich traditions and diversity—from classic pubs and historic members' clubs to thoughtfully designed spaces that balance family-friendly environments with experiences for both children and adults. This experience led to the creation of Little Big Hospitality, a company committed to blending comfort, style, and innovation for all generations.

When he's not leading the company, Michael enjoys spending time in nature—skiing, surfing, running, or hiking. He lives in NYC with his wife, Kimberley; son, River; and their two dogs, Buckley and Montana.

From driving international expansion to launching new brands and products, he helped scale global companies while also advising and building early-stage ventures. His career has taken him from Montreal and Toronto to London, Singapore, and New York with a commitment to people and culture.
